Display Preferences

Adjust theme and large-text behaviour on the device you are using.

Display preferences are personal settings for the browser and device you are using right now.

Use them when you want the app to feel more comfortable on your screen, or when you want headings and large text to feel less visible from a distance.

Open the menu

Open the display menu from the sun or moon button in the top bar.

The menu gives you two controls:

Theme

Choose between:

  • Light
  • Dark
  • System

System follows your browser or operating-system theme setting.

Limit font size

The same menu also includes a Limit font size toggle.

Turn this on if large headings and oversized labels feel too prominent on shared screens. circleOS adds a browser-side display limit so very large text styles are toned down.

What to expect

  • These settings only affect your own browser session. They do not change the view for teammates.
  • Theme is saved in the browser profile you are using.
  • Limit font size is saved in a browser cookie on that device.
  • If you switch browsers, switch devices, or clear site data and cookies, you may need to set them again.
  • The font-size limit helps reduce visual noise and casual shoulder-surfing, but it does not hide patient data on its own.

If you spend most of the day in Live Mode, this setting is especially useful on front-desk and treatment-room screens.
