Circle Intelligence is an app-wide assistant with two main entry points:
- inside record menus when you want to generate something from the current context
- inside chat when you want to ask questions or work through a case
Generate from the current record
On supported record pages, open the Action Menu and choose From this with AI. The same AI menu also appears on note cards.
Then choose:
- New Plan to draft a plan
- New Document to draft a document
The exact menu depends on the record, but this flow is mainly for creating a new plan or a new document from the current context. It works best when Circle Intelligence can resolve a patient from that record.
What you confirm before generating
Before generating, you usually confirm the record context and can add guidance such as a template or short prompt.
What context Circle Intelligence uses
Circle Intelligence starts with the record you launched it from. Depending on where you opened it, that can include:
- patient details
- note content
- booking details
- document details
- plan, purchase, or lab-order details
- other record data from the page you opened
When a patient can be resolved, Circle Intelligence can use that patient context for the draft as well.
Command bar and full chat
Open the Search & Command Bar, then:
- press Tab with an empty input to open the full Circle Intelligence chat
- type a question and press Tab to ask Circle Intelligence without leaving the command bar
In the command bar, Circle Intelligence streams a short answer inline. Select Continue in Circle Intelligence Chat if you want to keep the same question going in the full chat.
In the full chat, Circle Intelligence can:
- answer workflow questions
- pull in related record context
- continue multi-step back-and-forth
- show a plan or briefing preview next to the conversation when the result includes one
Full chat is the better choice when you want to work through a case, ask follow-up questions, or keep going after the short inline answer.
